I swear, he’s the only pet in the house paying any attention to this photo. My two other cats and dog haven’t looked twice at it, yet I’ve seen Finnegan admiring it a few times!

Monthly Archives: February 2011 Last weekend was the second Mikey’s Chance adoption event to take place at the Petco in Richland WA. Quite a few dogs in the store shopping with their owners, I even met an adorable three week old black lamb! I don’t remember this dog’s name but, he was so handsome. He’s a chocolate lab/rottie…  It turned out to be a pleasant afternoon yesterday so, I headed down to the Columbia River to meet up with Valerie of Mikey’s Chance to meet and photograph Chance. Chance is a Rottie/Lab mix who is looking for his forever home. Chance previously lived in a apartment with his elderly owner who recently passed…  Lily was dumped/tossed at the Benton Franklin Humane Society, she’s got abrasions on her legs to prove it. She was found hiding underneath one of the humane society’s trucks when workers arrived in the morning. It hasn’t effected her outgoing and charming personality at all though, she’s a sweetie.  I’ll be at the Petco in Richland, WA this Saturday, Feb. 5, along with my friends from Mikey’s Chance Canine Rescue. They’re hosting an adoption event from 9:30am - 2:00pm. Posted below are just a few of the pups that will be out there – including a litter of adorable chihuahua puppies. So, stop by… |
