Golden Retriever in an old red Packard

There is the coolest truck parked in the Benton-Franklin Humane Society parking lot, I immediately knew I needed to photograph it. But, not without a dog, naturally! There just happens to be a gorgeous golden retriever at the humane society looking for a new forever home; Izzy was a perfect model.

Dogs needing new homes – Humane Society Portraits

It’s been awhile since I’ve photographed the dogs at the Benton-Franklin Humane Society indoors using the white backdrop and studio lights. Sometimes it’s just too hot to be outdoors taking photos, so today we played indoors and brought out some accessories for the dogs; it turned out to be an awesome session! First up was…

I met young Aengus at the Columbia River Park Monday night, he was one of the three dogs that I photographed for Mikey’s Chance Canine Rescue. Not only was he the sweetest guy ever but, I just loved the markings he sported on the back of his neck.
