Two weeks ago I was able to resume taking photos of the adoptable pets at the humane society, and I’m so happy to be back. I had been unable to take photos for six weeks because I fell and fractured my right wrist and my left foot back in December. Wearing a wrist brace for eight weeks on my right hand left me unable to do much picture taking. I’m still wearing a walking cast on my left foot because my foot is not healing as it should. I’ll be seeing an orthopedic on Thursday to determine whether or not I will need a pin, I’m going to be sooo upset if I need surgery, I really want to start walking for exercise again.
As usual I’ve met and photographed the most amazing animals since I’ve been back to the shelter. The cat pictured is Currie, she has been at the shelter for quite some time and every time I see her she is just begging for attention, so when I finish taking photos I make a special visit to her and take her out of her enclosure for some playtime. I really hope she finds a forever home very soon.
