The mini-sessions at the Haute Dog Pet Resort in Walla Walla was a great success! Most of the proceeds of this event benefited the Forgotten Dogs Rescue of Walla Walla. I made lots of new friends, both 2-legged and 4 legged, here are just a sampling of the photos from that day with more to come!
So many sweet and beautiful dogs at the Benton Franklin Humane Society are waiting for a forever home, stop by and visit them; better yet take one or two for a walk! The weather is getting nicer and these dogs are inside all day, believe me it will make you feel so good to get out and walk a dog, it will certainly make a big difference in that dog’s day.
Journey of the Dancing Red Wolf. Yes, that’s his real name and he’s a gorgeous fun loving dog, stop by and take him out to play!
Delila, 2 year old Border Collie mix.
Misha, Catahoula Leopard dog mix.
George, giving me the stink eye. George is a Chihuahua/ Jack Russell mix.
Junior, 2 year old Jack Russell.
Candy is an adorable but, shy chihuahua.
Don’t let Nala’s serious look fool you, she’s an adorable clown!
Tater is a 5 year old neutered male dachshund in need of a new home.
On Saturday, April 28, I’ll be taking pet portraits at the Haute Dog Pet Resort in Walla Walla, WA. Part of the $30. session fee will be going to the Forgotten Dogs Pet Rescue. It will be a fun and exciting day for me, this is the first time I’ve offered mini-sessions and I’d like to offer more of them in the future to benefit other rescues in the area.
I’m hoping to make lots of new friends so, come out and say hi! and get your pet’s photo taken, you’re more than welcome to get in the shot!
I photographed this photo of Cappie at the Benton Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, WA. He has been at the shelter for approximately four months, he’s got the greatest smile and a personality to match.
I’ve been photographing the pets at the BFHS for the past three years with the hope that my photos of the beautiful animals that are waiting for homes will catch someone’s eye and encourage them to adopt a shelter pet. This is the heart of Hearts Speak, a group that I’m proud to be a member of, it encourages artists from all over the world to volunteer their photography abilities in getting beautiful portraits of these pets needing homes.
I photographed these dogs for Forgotten Dogs Rescue, just a week ago. It breaks my heart to know that these are the only survivors (plus one) of the recent house fire that claimed the lives of ten other dogs living with their foster mom. These dogs desperately need homes now because their foster mom is also now homeless. These dogs have been through so much, they are truly deserving a permanent place to call home.
For more information on these or any other dogs available from Forgotten Dogs Rescue, please contact them here:

Thank you, Judy, for the incredible pictures and for alerting the media to the catastrophe facing the four that needed to be rescued.
